Does anyone has a link to the "official" facebook page? The old one (with 4000 likes) was shut down recently following heated debates between various parties. It would be useful to know when GA are happening since meeting times can always change and to get information on upcomming marches/rallies/etc.

The facilitators of this movement have secret unannounced meetings the community openly accepts violence and sexual assualt against proactive members of the movement with no concequence and numerous occations the junkies have more rights I. this group then the political activists the commu.ity accepts violence and sexual assaualt by repeat offenders this is a homeless squat. Not a political movement we should be ashamed of the actions or lack of in this movement. The direct resault of this is the segregation and mocking of individuals standing up against violence and the creation of occupy Ottawa FREEDOM Camp where the community has a zero tolorance for violence against its commuity and damped drug use. Shame on the currupt student facilitators and their lack of doing anything..... And the open fraud of the donations cash box... You can block us from FB but the truth will come out. Currupton does not fight curruption

adam, your slanderous accusations would appear less ridiculous if your grammar and spelling weren't also so. You are welcome to become a facilitator. There is no dictatorship of facilitators. While I, as you, have questioned the ethics and resolve of some of the student facilitators, the idea that they are "running the show" is wrong. Furthermore, there is no "acceptance" of violence, there is a debate on how to deal with it. Maybe you are losing that debate, because you are hostile, you use violent language, and you are unable to put a coherent sentence together! Furthermore, if you are who I think you are, you were a big proponent of allowing drug use in the camp early on, and loudly shouted anyone down who wanted to enter into that debate, accusing them of infringing on your freedom. Take a look in the mirror before you go pissing on everything like you have here.

I think it is important to acknowledge Adam's strong feelings and concerns, but at the same time, I think John makes some important points, and I hope you are able to take them with good humour, even though they are somewhat sharp, Adam. Good humour in the sense of laughing at your flaws, and getting on with growing, not in the sense of making light of them, and ignoring them. No one is perfect; we love whole people, flaws and all. If you can make the space to accept the flaws of others, they may work harder to do the same for you.
