Political Action: rallies continuing every Sunday at noon on parliament hill against election fraud.

Committee Proposals

Re-Occ: proposal to release to the public the dates for re-occ. May 12-13 weekend, beginning with a march at 12pm May 12th, starting at the human rights monument. Proposal passed.

The GA was interrupted by a ROBOT INVASION.

    Guidelines have been finished. Needs to be translated.
    Released to the group and then users have 2 weeks to comment, make adjustments as necessary.

    Warm up your heart-ish event is happening not this weekend but next, Saturday April 14th.
    Idea for men to contribute to baking treats for the event.

Labour Outreach: May 1st organizing committee is organizing for activities on May Day. The committee is meeting Wednesday April 4th at 7pm, McNabb Community Centre, 180 Percy St.

Political Action: Taking part in protests every Sunday on parliament hill at noon against electoral fraud.

Hot chocolate giving away at Winterlude went well. Will do it again on Saturday March 3rd.
On March 2nd Netanyahu is coming to Ottawa. Hoping to be part of an action, trying to find out if there's something else already happening.
DA is meeting after this GA to engage in 2nd consultation regarding campaigns.

Outreach: Meeting at James’ place, Monday Feb 20th, 8pm.

Indigenous Solidarity: Families of Sisters In Spirit rally went well. Colin made a tableau. There’s an event on Feb 27th at 8pm, 10 Stuart St., about the history of Algonquin people in this area. Indigenous Solidarity meets Feb 20th at 5pm, at the Bridgehead on MacLaren.

The meeting received Committee announcements and proposals, and individual announcements and proposals.The GA approved the allocation of $120 to transfer the Movement’s official website from the infamous Go Daddy to a socially-conscious host.
